My name is Lindsay. I’m 2 months shy of 23. I live in Indiana with my boyfriend (of 7 years… holy crap!) and our cat. I am a compulsive knitter, currently on a sock/sock yarn/tiny needles binge. I’m in the midst of a complete mental and physical transformation; I’m changing my eating and exercise habits and am on the right track toward wellness and good health.

Aside from knitting and bettering myself, I have many other interests. I love clothing reconstruction, and I frequent local thrift stores looking for interesting pieces to redesign and recycle. I consider myself an independent designer, albeit an unconventional one. :] I like to dabble in web and graphic design, although I’m nowhere near as good at it as I think I used to be. Not that I’m horrible, just… not so great! ;] I also love to cook and make up new recipes… being creative with my food keeps me on track!

I’m a huge fan of documentaries, especially ones about addiction, eating disorders, and other psychological issues. I also love true crime shows. Some of my favorites are Intervention, Cold Case Files, American Justice, and the HBO documentary THIN. I love learning how others’ minds work… what makes them tick, how they came to be the people they are, and why they do the things they do.

Music has also been a huge part of me for most of my life… listening to it more so than playing it. ;] I’m a huge concert junkie, though my limited funds have kept me from going to as many shows as I’d like… Hopefully that will be remedied soon! Some old and new favorites include Jenny Lewis, Saves the Day, Blink 182, Rilo Kiley, New Found Glory, Robyn, The Sex Pistols, No Doubt, The Offspring, Melody Gardot, Green Day, Prototypes, Sublime, and Marcy Playground. And there are so many more!

I started this blog on June 8th ’09 as a place to gather my thoughts and chronicle my knitterly doings and other crafty endeavors. I’m still relatively new to the whole blogging thing, so bear with me. :] As always, questions, comments, and suggestions are very much appreciated. And encouraged!
